What is stress?
Stress is a feeling of overwhelm or doubt related to situations or things that happen to us.
Stress can be physical, mental, or emotional. For example, stress can feel like an upset stomach, lots of thoughts racing through the mind, or self-doubt.
Stressful events or situations often involve changes or adjustments, such as moving to a new place or starting a new job. Stress is a normal response to these kinds of changes and can actually be helpful in motivating us to take action.
However, when stress becomes too much to handle, it can take a toll on our mental and physical health. If you're feeling stressed out, there are things you can do to manage your stress and improve your wellbeing.
